The city has numerous viewpoints from which it is possible to enjoy the beautiful views of the city. From the top of each viewpoint you can see the most representative symbols of Barcelona in different ways, in addition to seeing how they are bathed in sunlight depending on the time you visit.

  • Torre Gloriés

At 125 meters high, the Torre Glòries viewpoint, a spectacular observatory, halfway between the city and the sky, allows you to enjoy a 360° view of Barcelona. Not only do you get spectacular views of Barcelona and its most emblematic buildings: the new Barcelona viewpoint is also the privileged vantage point from which you can admire the flow and rhythm of the city, the movement of birds, the clouds, the light and their reflections, the trees and the people.

  • Monumento de Colón

Built in homage to the discoverer Cristobal Colón, the Colón Monument is a striking 60-meter-high viewpoint that is located next to the port of Barcelona. Inside there is an elevator that takes you to a perfect panoramic view of Las Ramblas, Montjuïc and the Port of Barcelona. The sculpture was inaugurated for the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888

  • Búnkers

Carmel is one of the most beautiful, secluded and most charming spaces in the city. The Bunker del Carmel viewpoint, located at the top of the Turó de la Rovira (in the Guinardó Park), a place from which you can see what is surely, the best panoramic view of the city.

It is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with free access. Its name is due to the fact that there are some bunkers, used as anti-aircraft batteries and that were built during the course of the Spanish Civil War with the aim of defending the city from bombing.

The best time to visit them is at sunset because you can enjoy one of the greatest pleasures of this place, seeing how the sun goes down and the buildings of Barcelona are dyed red.

  • Torre Collserola

High in the Collserola Mountain Range is this telecommunications tower designed by Norman Foster for the 1992 Olympic Games. With 288 meters high and 13 floors, its viewpoint, located on the 10th floor, offers one of the best panoramic views of the city. From it you can see the entire urban core, as well as some of the most representative symbols of the city.

  • Castillo de Montjuic

At the top of the mountain of Montjuïc is this military fortress whose first foundations date from the seventeenth century. Expanded during the following centuries, today the castle is one of the main visits of Monjtuïc, which can be accessed on foot or by cable car. From its gardens and walls you get the best views of the port of Barcelona, the old quarries and Barceloneta.
