Christmas begins and with it many plans to do with family and friends appear. On this occasion we bring you activities for the elderly and many for the little ones at home to spend an unforgettable New Year’s Eve. On Thursday, November 24, Barcelona began the Christmas campaign with the premiere of the city lights and it will be the beginning of many activities to enjoy these dates.
- Christmas Market
There are several places in Barcelona where you can enjoy their classic Christmas markets, including the Sagrada Familia Market and the Fira de Santa Llúcia, which is the city’s market par excellence, not only because it is the oldest in the city but because it is the most emblematic. In these markets, carry out workshops in which you can fill yourself with the Christmas spirit, since they have numerous stalls where you can buy nativity figures, Christmas trees and plants, decorations, gift items and spaces with food products such as sweet potatoes, chestnuts, nougat and Churros.

- Three Kings Parade
January 5th is the day that children await since at 6 pm they can be in the streets of the city to welcome their Majesties from the East and enjoy a great show on a night of so much magic. The procession begins on Avenida Marquès de l’Argentera where the King and Queen, along with their entourage, will pass through Pla de Palau, p.º Isabel II, Vía Laietana, pl. Urquinaona, Fontanella, pl. Catalonia, Pelai, pl. University, rda. Sant Antoni, Sepúlveda, av. Paral·lel, av. Queen Maria Cristina.

- New Year’s Eve chimes
On Avenida de la Reina María Cristina, where the fireworks show is usually held to say goodbye to the year and toast a new year, this time it is back to give us an intoxicating experience and a surprising show saying goodbye to this 2022 as described deserves.

- Ice skating in Barcelona at Tibidabo and Port Vell
Christmas arrives together with the cold and we feel like nothing more than going ice skating alone, with friends or with the family. For many it may be the first time they have lived the experience, so we help them to know where they can have fun on an ice rink. During the festivities, the Tibidabo amusement park will have an open ice rink that will be installed in the Plaza de los Sueños, and it will be available from November 26 to January 5 and the entrance price will be 5 euros.
Gliding on the water with sharp skates is almost the experience that the new skating rink of the Port of Barcelona offers us. The track will be a novelty this year and one of the main attractions of the Port Vell Christmas Fair.
There is no Christmas without an ice rink, so enjoy!
