Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar are already on their way to Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona to spend the night of the 5th at the parades throughout Catalonia. Their Majesties will tour the streets of the Catalan provinces to greet all the children on the most magical night of the year.
Are you going to witness this magical night that takes place only once a year?

The new route of the Three Wise Men’s Parade of Barcelona will begin at 18.00 hours with the landing by sea of Their Majesties on board the Santa Eulàlia; at the Portal de la Pau they will be received by Ada Colau, Mayoress of Barcelona, to begin a parade of floats that will end at the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc at around 21.00 hours.
Along the way, they will go through Passeig de Colom (6:00 p.m.), Avinguda del Paral-lel (7:15 p.m.), Ronda de Sant Pau (7:30 p.m.), Mercat de Sant Antoni (7:45 p.m.), Carrer Sepúlveda (8:15 p.m.), Plaça Espanya (8:35 p.m.) and Passeig de Reina Maria Cristina (9:00 p.m.).

Another novelty, and very sweet, will be that the floats will again throw candy during the tour after two years of absence due to the restrictions of the covid to avoid contagions. These will not be the only novelties. Each of the three Three Wise Men will have new floats. Melchior’s carriage will have luminous wings and will be accompanied by choreographies of the Centre de Dansa de Catalunya while Gaspar will be accompanied by his magical entourage with choreographies of Som-hi Dansa and Balthazar with a dance show devised by Anna Mbengue.
The metro network will operate this Thursday until two in the morning because it is the eve of a public holiday, and on Friday, Epiphany, will also operate until two in the morning like any other Friday.
During the route, there will be reserved spaces for people with disabilities at Pla de Palau (sea side) and at Plaça d’Espanya (in the section between Avinguda del Paral-lel and Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina).
