The Llum BCN 2023 Festival will pay tribute to public space as a “community binder” and reflect on the climate crisis with more than 30 artistic installations based on light throughout the Poblenou neighborhood during its 12th edition, from February 3 to 5.

.

The Llum BCN light arts festival, one of the most important events on Barcelona’s cultural calendar, will once again bring together creators from all fields: from contemporary art to design and architecture, and from technology to lighting design.

.

Jordi Martí, the deputy mayor of Culture of the Barcelona City Council, has valued that it is an art and popular festival, and with “a link with the educational field” since 15 design and art schools in Barcelona participate –such as BAU, Elisava and Escola Massana–, as well as 13 national and international artists.
