Despite humble beginnings as a settlement built on top of a medieval area of jousts and celebrations, El Born has grown into being one of the most fashionable places in Barcelona city center.

Here you will find a lot of historic places of art like The Palau de la Música Catalana, a music auditorium located on Carrer Sant Pere més Alt in the Ribera district of Barcelona, Spain. It was designed by the Barcelona architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of the leading representatives of Catalan modernism.
El Born Location
El Born is located between Via Laietana and Barceloneta and is served by the metro stops Barceloneta and Jaume I, which are on the same line. Las Ramblas and the very centre of the city are a pleasant 10 minute walk away.
